Wasn't the caption, "Sorry ladies, he's married," or something like that, one of the overlay graphics on one of the Ed Sullivan Show performances, along with another caption when the cameras zoomed in on each individually?

Yes, Scott but The Beatles were big in the UK long before their visits to America of course and this is the period to which I referred.

As the camera zoomed in on each Beatle individually, the only caption was the name, until John came up. His caption showed his name along with the "Sorry, girls, he's married" statement.

It seemed to me at the time that Paul was the heartthrob in the group, Ringo had the lost puppy angle sewn up, and George was a stern enigma.
