Murph bass

On eBay. Never heard of them until now... Now here's the Ric content: look at the truss rods! I thought no one else used this kind.

It looks like a deformed Jaguar and it needs a new nut.

Nice use of the seamless background to give the photo that studio-shot look.

Is it just me or is the A slot bigger than the E slot?

The looks like the paper a butcher would wrap your steaks in.

I think someone posted here about this brand a few years ago. I think there might have been some sort of Rickenbacker connection...Maybe Murph worked for RIC at one time, or one of his employees did, or maybe he just liked Ricks...I can't remember!

Kind of a cool looking bass though. I like it anyway! Too bad the bridge looks like junk. And what do you suppose is up with the switch and two knobs? One pickup or the other? Both pickups or the bridge pickup?

See a Murph (guitar) in action here:

Looks like they are most excellent at causing amp failure!

Okay. I really like the bass, but I don't think I $2,077.99 like the bass:

Maybe if I played it or heard it I'd change my mind though!
