Odd rick Sighting

Post by harrek »

Not sure if this belongs here, but was watching a Bob The Builder cartoon with my great nephew today. It was one that
had Elton John in it. At one point in the cartoon he plays Crocodile Rock. Now it might be me, but it sure looks like
the guitar player has a Rick! I thought it quite funny. Found that part on You Tube for everyone to check out:

Am I seeing things? Sure looks like a Rick to me. Too bad the bass player seems to be playing a Hofner (left handed even).

Well my eyes were not deceiving me. My nephew thought it odd why I suddenly got more
interested in the DVD.

Is that supposed to be a 325? I see a Höfner bass as well - BtB's not as bad as I thought :D

The Disney Channel has a show called "Imagination Movers" that during the intro, a mouse is playing a Ric (325?). All I could find on YouTube was the Spanish version:

Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).

These kids' shows' bands have good taste in guitars, better than what I've seen from Nickelodeon and Disney's pre-teen/teen stars like Jonas Brothers or whomever.
