Bee Gee playing white Ric

Post by 08 Ric 4003 »

I was in a used record store today and I saw the Bee Gees album "To Whom It May Concern". It has Maurice Ernest Gibb playing a White Ric.

Was it this one?

If so, it is currently owned by a forum member. Maurice also had a "deluxe" 4001 with binding and fingerboard inlays.

No, it can' t be. The one on the cover of the album had Triangle Inlays. I tried to post a pic of the album cover, but I am not computer literate. I am just now learning how to text on my phone. Can someone post a pic.

The white deluxe featured on the cover may have been the special order mentioned in the Smith book with black trim. I was told this bass was given to a DJ in the UK back in the mid to late 70's IIRC.
