This morning on VH1 Classic, they were covering some one-hit wonders of the '80s, and the last video shown on that segment was "Take On Me" by A-Ha. About midway through, I spotted a Fireglo Rickenbacker. In the official video on YouTube, it appears first at about 1:51:

It appears to be a model 1998 VB, but I can't tell whether it's a reissue. I also don't know whether the band actually used it, or whether it was simply a prop for the video shoot.

IIRC, it's from the 80s, and appeared to have some wear in the video, so prolly original.
