It's great to see all this support. Please understand that the book is not finished and a contract has not been let. When it is published, I will let everyone know, but I won't be able to advertise it here, and I won't be "taking" or fulfilling orders. The publisher will have to be doing all the selling, but you won't have any problems getting the book.

We at the MARC in Milwaukee this past weekend got a peek at quite a few chapters of this future reference. All I'll say is just wait, we're in for a treat.

There is a possibility of a Paul Boyer book signing tour when the book comes out (so to speak  ). First stop (and unveiling  ) may be at RIO!!! II  .

I got a chance to see the (unfinished) first draft of Paul's book at the Milwaukee confluence. You guys are in for a treat! Tons of great photos of Rick basses, many of which are owned by forum members including me. (Hey, I'm famous now!) 8)

Again, not really much of a bass guy, but this really pulls my interest. When the time comes to order, I'll be doing just that. Looking forward to it.

Hi Graham. This book is not completed yet, and negotiations with Hal Leonard Publishing are still underway. I expect it will be for sale in 2012, but there is no set price yet. If Hal Leonard publishes the book, it should be available through just about all outlets.
