switching black for chrome

Post by tnelson »

think about switching my black hardware out, wondering if I should look into having my black R-tail chromed or try to find a used one and put the black one up?
what are the chances of finding a R-tp used and a set of chrome Schaller mini 6s wanting to sell?
thanks

I have bought and sold mini Schallers in the past. If you can't find them StewMac has them fairly reasonable. http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tuners/Guit ... hines.html I would think you can find someone to swap your "R" tailpiece. If not consider turning it in to RIC for an exchange. Another option is to go with a trapeze tailpiece. These can be bought new from the RIC boutique or aftermarket from Winfield. http://www.winfieldvintage.com/parts/trapeze.html
