I'm sorry to let it go, but I never play it. In addition, my first real bass is my 4003 that I have modified with v63 parts. I will never get rid of the 4003. I'm starting to work on amplifiers and figure out how to design stuff, so I need to free up funds for that. First stop, a '66 Dual Showman and then on to a '74 V-4B, then back to a '65 Bandmaster with a quick stop at a '65 Super Reverb. If it sounds like fun, that's because it is...
This will be my 3rd v63...
The first one was just like this only with a ding in the headstock where a cymbol crashed down on it....sold it and regret it to this day....
This will be the younger brother to my '93 v63MG....
Thanks again, Matt...

So Chris, whaddaya like better, the v63 or the Shadows? So far my Shadows are my best playing Rics but I don't have a v63 yet. I like thin necks and low action. The '04s that I own have huge necks so they get very little use. The '73 has an ok neck but not as nice as the Shadows and my '89. How are the necks on the v63 compared to the '86s.
a couple of Shadows a Blackstar and an Annie.
