New here and just bought lefty 330 blue boy

Hello all !
I am new here. I just purchased (via ebay ) a 2004 lefty 330 blue boy.

The pictures and description had me expecting a light blue guitar, which was the reason I had to buy it - and because I've always wanted a ric (my first one !)

However, when I received the guitar, it turns out the guitar is more turquoise in daylight. Now, as I type this, the guitar appears more blue. Strange, but nice.

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed at first but then the color grew on me,

Any thoughts on this color discrepancy ?

Joe, be happy---you scored a great deal on a very rare color in rare LH, at a great price.....contests!

P.s...blueboy colors are all over the map, as they can age and green, depending on conditions.

As mentioned you have acquired a fairly rare guitar. Enjoy it. I suspect that you will be hard pressed to find another. IMO 330's are guitars that play well and sound amazing through a great amp. They also look great

funny, it was delivered by UPS when no one was home to receive it, so, they left it outside by the front door. Couldn't they at least hide it ???? i would;ve been devastated if it was stolen.

+1 that color looks perfect!! Blueboy isn't supposed to be too pale.

yeah, it does look great in the pics and also in person, but the turquoise-esque quality to it isn't captured in the pics. the pics make it look more blue than it actually is. strange.

Congratulations on getting the guitar. Don't forget you have the vintage pickups and vintage case upgrades, so that is an amazing price. My Blue Boy seems to be almost mint green at some angles, it's strange colour but great and unique too. There really aren't that many leftys in that colour too. You're lucky the seller didn't ship out of the U.S or your 330 would be sitting in my lounge now I'll attach some pics so you can compare your colour to mine, yours seems to be spot on in that department though.
