I'm surprised that there isn't a dedicated official listing of these models on the RRF or official site.
Also It would be nice to know a little about the development of each signature model.
e.g. how much input on the design/features comes from the artist themselves etc.

A 1958 Capri 365 in Reverse Fireglo... How many did they make? Well more then one it seems...

"This is either a 1958 or 1959 electric Rickenbacker guitar. The guitar is all original except for the finish on the top of the neck. The paint was coming off of the top of the neck from using the thumb, and that part was refinished years ago by a luthier. When the luthier was fixing the paint on the neck, he cleaned the pick guard and the "Joe Edwards" name washed off. So he redid the name. And he made a second pick guard. The man in the photo is Joe Edwards with the guitar. It is a "Joe Edwards" model. Joe Edwards worked at Harlin Bros. Music store at this time. Joe played the Chet Atkins style, using his thumb on the sixth string. This guitar has a thin neck to allow the thumb on the sixth string. Joe then went on to the Grand Ol' Opera in Nashville, TN., as a member of their house band, mainly playing the fiddle. The pick guard coming from the Rickenback factory, had "Joe Edwards" name on it above the knobs. Joe has since autographed it in person. When the luthier was fixing the paint on the neck, he cleaned the pick guard and the "Joe Edwards" name washed off. So he redid the name. And he made a second pick guard. The guitar has been in the family since new, well taken care of. It is in the original case, but the case is coming apart, but adequate. The Asking $5500.00 or best offer. Prefer not to ship. We are in Indiana, and you can pick up, or we will meet you half way and deliver it, within a reasonable distance. Call 317-821-1906 for more information. Please leave a message."

Seems JE models were issued both as 330 and 365.

I have a Rick upper guard signed by Pete Best. So I guess I may have one of the only "Pete Best" models. Except it's not on a guitar at the moment. Did he play a Rickenbacker guitar or was it a Fender?

With the renewed fervour surrounding capri models, this one would actually be a fantastic model for re-issue, along with the 381 prototype pictured with James Burton in the Smith book.

The unbound, dot neck, hardtail 330 reverse fireglo Joe Edwards guitar is currently for sale at Gruhn Guitars in Nashville for $8,000. They have good pics of it on the website. It's a beauty in person!
I guess one was a 365 and one was a 330?
