Come on, Ken - their bologna alfredo is oh-so-authentic, and their spaghetti is even better than Chef Boyardee's....
Re: Uh oh ...
But... but... they say that they train their chefs and managers in Italy, so it must be authentic Italian food...
Culinary Institute of Tuscany
...Or perhaps they are just trying to bring actual Italian cooking to their level...

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Places like OG aren’t bad (they are what they are)… but the mom and pop places are usually the best!!! Now I’m hungry for some Italian food and the mom & pop place here in town is closed on Sundays!!! DANG!

Restaurants are open right now in Little Italy, here, about two minutes from where we live.

Re: Uh oh ...
If ANY of you guys ever find yourself in a predominantly old world Italian town called Raritan NJ......
check out Espo's.
They literally are a "Mom & Pop" restaurant. The place is small, and ALWAYS packed...and mom REALLY does cook in the kitchen.

Believe it or not, Chef Boyardee really was started by Italians immigrants with the last name of Boiardi. They spelled it Boyardee so Americans could say their name properly...but I can''t eat that stuff. Something in their recipe or the canning process...not for me!!superdick2112 wrote:Come on, Ken - their bologna alfredo is oh-so-authentic, and their spaghetti is even better than Chef Boyardee's....
Anyway, we are way off topic. Let's out this one to rest.
