Outstanding Gary. A great song from an era that has yet to be equaled. Time to go on the road.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: Another Byrds' Cover
Thanks Peter and Brian, that song has always haunted me since I first heard Gene Clark sing it back in 1965.
So.....Guess which was the first song I played on my 360/12V64 back in 1988 when I first got it ? Yep, that's the one !
Have a Happy Day

Thanks Rich !

Re: Another Byrds' Cover
I forgot to add, many thanks to Troy Yarborough for up-loading it to his you tube account and adding the great graphics.

Re: Another Byrds' Cover
One more note, I think McGuinn played it with his first 360/12 before he had the built-in compression circuitry

Professionally done, Gary! You manage to pay tribute to the original without playing it note for note. One of the best cover versions I've heard!

Gary. You and John did a great job on this. Very impressive.
Re: Another Byrds' Cover
This is probably covered somewhere but on the lead for Feel A Whole Lot Better, I always thought I hear a bit of finger pickin' in the McGuinn original version. You seem to have have captured that here where most miss those nuances. Is there a bit of finger roll on the lead and "out-tro"?
Just curious.
Again, really like the way you've covered this.

Re: Another Byrds' Cover
Gary,
I just relistened to your version of "Feel a Whole Lot Better" and was amazed at the lush, full sound you get from your 360/12V64. I assume you double-tracked the guitar, but there seems to be some extra shimmer. Other than a compressor, what pedals did you use while recording?
You've also said that you like to mic your amps in the your garage studio. What amp and mic(s) did you use and how did you position the mic(s)?
