Bert, I've been thinking this also. Really. How many were counted twice when they changed hands, too?berth wrote:Sorry guys, I think I lost count somewhere so we have to start all over.
Re: Total Rickenbackers on the RRF!
Asuming that not everyone registers their instruments, I find it odd that the register has 10 times the entries than the current count in this topic. And I do know of collected instruments there but can not imagine them being 90 % of the instruments.
Maybe one could ask Gill to make a "Member owned" field in the advanced search in the registry. This will probably give a more accurate count. (After that a new topic "show us your newest Rickenbacker" must be started offcourse. Pictures required.!)

Re: Total Rickenbackers on the RRF!
I wan't a picture of just one of the octopeds out there who can play three Ricky at once (whilst standing normally) - as that's an approximation for the average guitar holding per post!!
Re: Total Rickenbackers on the RRF!
Let me explain this. You can also play several instruments in succession. You do not necesarrely have to hold them all at once. You can then choose a different sound for a different mood.Dasher wrote:I wan't a picture of just one of the octopeds out there who can play three Ricky at once (whilst standing normally) - as that's an approximation for the average guitar holding per post!!
So,............. now you can buy more Rickenbacker's.

I recently acquired the most beautiful, greatest guitar I've ever owned.
1997 360/12 JetGlo.
1286 + 1 = 1287.

Does Islandboy's addition make it 1288 ---- or have we totally lost count ?
Re: Total Rickenbackers on the RRF!
