Upcoming Gigs - The Byrds Collective

After taking the winter off, The Byrds Collective will start playing live shows starting May 29th.

These will be our first shows with a new Gene Clark (Chuck Maiden) will be

Topanga Days Fair - May 29th @ 11:30 am. (Memorial Day Weekend)

Admission to the fair required but the show is free!

Lake ArrowHead Concert Series - June 17th 6:30 pm
Lake Arrowhead , California, USA
This show will feature over 2 hours of Byrds musics as well as some Beatles ('65 era), Tom Petty, Spongetones and a few originals.

Henry Volk Winery - June 26th Noon

This show will be our first unplugged performance!

How'd the Lake Arrowhead gig go?

Steve, we're sorry we'll miss you Sunday but we will for sure get together at SCARF.

Thanks for asking, the Arrowhead gig went fantastically well. We played almost 2 1/2 hours (including encore.) According to the online reviews we've seen, the crowd really liked the addition of the mini Beatles set, and we're blown away by the Tom Petty tunes. All in all, we're pretty pleased with ourselves.

We're looking very forward to jamming with you on the Tom Petty and Byrds songs. And whatever else you'd like to play!

Just reserved seats for the August 4th show at the Coffee Gallery Backstage in Pasadena. Saw them there last year and they were really great. If you live in L.A., or are coming in for SCARF, do yourself a favor and check out the Byrds Collective.

I really wanted to do You Don't Have To Cry and It's No Use. In fact, we wanted to do the whole Mr. Tambourine Man album in it's entirety but I'm not sure we're going to be able to do it. July is a busy month and we're not going to see each other until the end of the month. But I'm still holding out hope!

She was there last year, but she darted in and out, she stayed a few minutes to speak with Paulie (about the law and lawyer work), Joey and maybe Rich. Collin said he'd have an eye on me, and did just that. I'm hoping you'll see her.
