RRF mobile app?
How difficult would this to implement? I am a litlle clueless about how to go about designing apps. The GUITARS CANADA forum has a mobile app that works really well, finding myself spending a lot of time there these days.
Re: RRF mobile app?
Pony up the heaps of cash it would cost.....and I bet that would make it easier!
Seriously though, some web forum platforms are already set up for mobile, and if not (which might be the case for the RRF), it requires extensive redesigning to create a mobile-platform.
Ps....I have no problem wth the RRF on my iPhone (or iPad like right now..)

Works on my Droid too...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I'm with CJ, Droid Does RRF pretty well!
Re: RRF mobile app?
TalkBass has a mobile app that i use on my iPad. It's a nice app, but i find it much easier to browse in the web interface as it's easier to see a whole list of threads, or posts in a thread rather than having to load them up all of the time. Mobile apps seem to assume you are on 3g and only wish to download short chunks of data at a time.
Re: RRF mobile app?
I have no problem using my iPhone to browse the RRF, but a mobile app like the one for the Guitars Canada forum makes it much easier to navigate while on public transit, in a boring meeting or after having a few drinks at the bar etc.

I just learned to day that trifocals, a moving car (No, I wasn't driving) and talking to the Mrs, while to type isn't conducive to one's health. I can't chew gum and walk more or less trying to do all the above while using a smart phone.
I never saw the left hook coming.
