It is live again. After a day of fun yesterday with some forum buddies, (Paulie and Rich) and other friends. I though about all that this forum as well as the RIC company forum has given me, especially in the value of friendships. I feel it's right to give back to the community has has done so much for me. I can't let a bonehead or two (like from the other day) get under my skin and spoil it for everyone else, including me. The videos are also available.

As far as asking for anyone to send a reproduction of any contents of my site without my permission, the sender needs to carefully read my Terms Of Use page.

Yes. :) Thanx Joey! I did see the 4001 trussrod adjustment video once, but I would like to see it once more before I actually start adjusting.

Thanks Joey! This forum and your site have both inspired and educated me. Things I would have never dreamed of doing are no problem now, between the two sites should say three(Ric Corp. site) I'm a better bassist and Ric owner. Thank you!

I can't believe you would suggest something so barbaric.. Oxyacetylene is so much more humane

It's because he's an amateur.

A 13 amp electric motor will never work right:

+1 more!

Thank you so much, Joey, for all the wisdom you have imparted on all of us.

BTW, if you want to make a video demonstrating how to install and cut saddles on a 4003 or a video of how to install a push/pull pot on a 4001C64, I have a couple of volunteers for you!

You'll have to fill me in on how this improves the sound.
Maybe this isn't what rickaddict meant, but with the cover gone, your plucking or picking hand has access to a new section of string for sounds you don't get elsewhere. For my own playing style, that's prime real estate.
