That tax is (I hope) propping up alternative modes of transportation and energy, so I would support it--but that's me. And that's as far as I'll go with this comment because I know it begins to tread murky waters here.

I am so grateful that Denver has lots of bike lanes, bike rentals substations, and a fairly good lightrail system in addition to its fleet of buses. Whenever I finally do commit to taking the car someplace it makes for a completely different and much worse day... driving in Denver's traffic, especially its highways, destroys any good mood I may have had. I've also saved lots of money by doing 90% of my transit on a bicycle, and that means taking my wife out more, etc.

Well if it's the Celtic "c" then it would just be replaced with a "k" in American English, I think.

If it's pronounced similar to the Isles of Scilly, it would sound like "city".

Scitty? One could, of course, change the third vowel present to the first. A rather absent minded Whiskers boy you would be! Or, possibly, the C could be replaced by it's brother five down the line, leaving you feeling very poorly indeed...

 "Scitty..."

Well, that's what I get for trying to post on a forum from my mobile phone.

My apologies, Scotty. I hope everyone had a laugh at least!

What, the CPI is about 225? Geez, in 2001 it was only about 175!

And so on.
