What do you think about this project?
Is it a fake? Is it an original?

Awesome, it's not. Worthless it is (IMHO). The guy should have bought a BC Rich Mockingbird, Warlock or something like that!
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I wouldn't take it for free, and since it's had cracks in the neck, I don't think it'd make a good 4-2-5 project. Maybe a 4-2-fireplace project maybe.

The things people do to guitars or basses. Swapping pups is one thing but mangling a sweet axe should be a crime punishable by firing squad.

This was a run-of-the-mill current 4003, not the Karr-Koussevitzky Amati or a '59 burst Les Paul or pre-war D45. And the seller is losing most of what he paid for it because he's stupid, that's punishment enough.

Remember John Mayall's sawn off pre-CBS Strat? I once had the opportunity to ask him about it and he has no regrets. He said he likes it better this way.

I was being sarcastic about the firing squad. It is your guitar or bass. If you want to mod it or mangle it, you paid for it. It may make us cringe but it is not our stuff.

Paul W said that he could use a gallon of bondo and it would return it to its original sillouette.
