Who wrote the song, "I Can Tell" and who owns the master?

Is this song still in print?

I will check out the writer.
It is out of print since the Philips cd has been deleted.

The credit for writing goes to Samuals , McDaniels but Ican't recall who originally did thesong. It certainly was not a hit either here in England or the States

MD
My info is based on the writing credit on The Searchers at the Star Club CD - the Vinyl version called, Attention - The Searchers, released some years ago actually as credit for the song states Arr The Searchers. As with a lot of writing credits, there is always, in some instances confusion. Still can't recall who did the song originally

On the version by Rory Storm and the Hurricanes on the Edsel reissue of the THIS IS MERSEYBEAT albums the song is credited C. Willis.

Update (should have checked my record collection) Audio evidence says the song is Smith/McDaniel, and was done by Bo Diddley.

Bo Diddley's real name is Ellis McDaniel
