That's one of the problems with people like Winehouse. She didn't care how long she had left. When people like this are on a path of self-destruction it's usually because they have little self-worth, and don't realize the gift of life.

That goes for all junkies, too. I have also had to bury my best friend because of drug overdose, and I'll tell ya.....trying to get somebody to respect themself enough to quit substance abuse is a lot harder than it seems, and all too often a losing battle.

I just wish the media machine that helped enable Amy's downward spiral could step back and have a little respect for her, instead of making a circus about it.....we get it, TMZ.... :roll:

She left us quite a few gems. This one makes me so sad.............because of what she could have been. Just listen to the power in her amazing voice.

But today is a more sad day thinking of the Norway victims...
This is exactly how I felt as well. A great performer but no surprise. It was the Norway incident that truly shocked and upset me.
