When did the Beach Boys do California Dreaming? I thought that was the Mamas and the Papas.

It was done around the same time as Kokomo.

There is also a video of it .

It was recorded approx. 1986. (Kokomo was 87/88)
I do believe Roger was in the same room as the 'Boys. I could ask the guys directly but ...

No ...just saw it one day on VH-1 on a Saturday with the TV on ...they were playing it .

There he was with Granny glasses on !

Ask Him ....he might have a better idea.
