Cool pics, Joshua. I never realized before you wore your bass up so high. I can't wear mine up that high. If I do, my right arm tires faster, feels like the blood flow slows.
That's actually lower than I used to wear it. My right arm moves around a lot when I'm playing (because I change my hand position) so maybe that's why it doesn't bother me--my arm doesn't rest on the same spot all night.
I change my hand position for different tones as well, but the straighter my arm, to some degree the better for me. I don't know how some guys play their basses around their knees!
