I saw them about the same time, and i didn't think they slowed down tempus fugit or machine messiah at all. They played "and you and i" at a slower pace during the Rabin era,but i thought it gave the song some real gravitas-bill bruford once commented that playing that song behind Chris and Alan was "uncomfortable".

Oh yes, the UNION tour...wasn't just about EVERYONE uncomfortable on stage at some point? That one was well-documented. But I did enjoy that tour...I always try to emphasize the positive and with that approach, there was plenty to cheer for there, not the least of which was Billy B. (And their version of "Awaken" on that tour was wonderful.)

I saw YES open up for Styx here in KC at the Starlight theater. Although an opening act (no doubt due to Styx's greater popularity here) Yes still played for an hour and a half. Chris had a different Electra MPC bass though. It was a regualar production one in a brown sunburst. At the end of Yes' set as they were leaving the stage before the usual encore, Chris handed his THE Rick to a roadie who dropped it on it's face! Great show otherwise, and Styx was actually pretty good and very tight.

Cut a Liberal Arts Major some slack. It is tough majoring in nothing. Plus I am just a dumb military guy to boot.

Joel-I wasn't trying to point out a mistake on your part,I was just making a stupid pun. So instead of the roadie getting fired,he might have actually been beaten with a stick (cane),for his carelessness. (just imagine Chris as a slave-owner for this particular mental image...)

I got the album about a week ago and can't stop listening to it.
These guys just never stop amazing me.
The album, I thought, was very well written and produced. The new singer blends in very well.
I hope they do another live album off of this tour.
