Re: How much would you pay for a reissue?
My 4003 works fine for me. So even if one is made I would not be able to afford it.

Tomorrow. Supposedly. Can we borrow some money from you?turlu wrote:Didn't you guys in the USA just raise the debt ceiling just recently ???????T.A.R. wrote:A 4002 would be great, but for me a 4005 would be incredible. That would be worth getting in debt for, I couldn't resist it.![]()
You will be fine, just spend, spend, spend !!!!
Re: How much would you pay for a reissue?
Make me a 4005 and I'll do my best keep the market going. If nobody is spending then nobody is making and nobody is working!

We are broke too up North as well you know !!! Not as bad I must admit !!! Good luck !!! Anyway, the entire world depends on you guys and us we are the first one in line !!,
Re: How much would you pay for a reissue?
I would only go for the 4005. I guess I would pay $4000 seeing as how they are fetching twice that or more for originals. I have heard that the company says no chance of re-issuing that model.
Re: How much would you pay for a reissue?
Having already owned the first 2 models, and not that fond of the 3001,I wouldn't be in the market at all for any of these. Now a reissue/tribute of the original 4000? Where's my MasterCard?
Re: How much would you pay for a reissue?
4002 - $4600USD
4005 - $5900USD
3001 - $2300USD, A 3000 would be better because shortscales rule!
*Note, these are all estimates based on experience watching the Ricket on ebay.

Re: How much would you pay for a reissue?
I remember reading on the Rickenbacker website that the c64 was discontinued because a new quite similar model would be released in the future. But I can't find it anymore.
Maybe I read it while i was day dreaming..

I'd like to see a 3000 RI as well, I like shortscales.
On that topic a capri 365 would be nice too.

So can you reissue a reissue?marc61 wrote:I'd like to see a re-reissue of the V63 but, can't see how they would be less than the current used prices.
Other than that, maybe just options like checkerboard binding and horseshoe/toasters for the currently made better than ever 4003

Nah, you'd just be re-introducing, or resuming production of the RI model.ricosound wrote:So can you reissue a reissue?marc61 wrote:I'd like to see a re-reissue of the V63 but, can't see how they would be less than the current used prices.
