Although the JG is 2008, and one piece neck, I can hardly tell the difference between it and the two piece MID neck

What else could a bassist want?

A bigger bass-side horn, 7-screw tailpiece, crushed inlays, toaster, horseshoe, wavy Grovers, checkered binding, a back-painted plexi TRC, and a thinner neck, apparently. Welcome to the forum Marc!!!

I've liked D'Adarrio chrome flats in the past. Right now, the factory strings just sound so good, I can't see messing with them. My theory is correct. Ric never made better basses than they do now. What a reception the MID got at a local Blues Jam tonight. Everybody loved it.
