Just stumbled across an old vintage guitar magazine from the late 90's and saw an ad for a shop with its stock list. In this list there was a Tuxedo for $650...and I wonder...will these days ever return???

I used to put a "bucks worth" of regular in my 61 Chevy in 1971 and ride around until we needed another "bucks worth" which was a while as you got almost 4 gallons for it, was a saying way back in the dark ages.
there's a thread from last year or the year before about how much everyone payed for their first Ric, I payed $477.00 for a new mapleglo 4001/case in 1977 and that was expensive then.

I just found a Hammond A-100 for free and I am giving it to our Keyboard player! Now that may not mean much to the Non Hammond knowledgeable musician but the A-100 is a B-3 on steroids! I gave it to him yesterday, He lost his mind! When he finds it again we are taking the B-3 guts out of the heavy (400lb) wooden cabinet these things were built in and making a road case for it with folding legs and phenumatic tires (160lbs). I am stripping the Leslie apart and building a lighter cab with handles and wheels for this as well. Yeah deals still exist! This thing with the leslie like it sits now is worth $2000-$3000 after we get done with the road gig conversion it will be worth more! Well it's almost cost free to him he does have to buy the next round of YES tickets if they do another tour and he owes me and my family a nice Lobster and Filet dinner on the deck this next summer. Not a bad deal all way round Wish I could find a nice old Ricenbacker Bass some old Lady is giving away. If anyone finds one let me know I'll come and pick it up and buy the lobsters for you OK?
