What was the first year they started making the 4001C64? Was it available in both FG and MG?

Re: 4001C64
Josh: Good questions. The answers may vary somewhat but I recall the announcement of the 4001C64 in January 2001 with Mapleglo, Fireglo and Jetglo finishes starting to surface in the fall of 2002. The 4001C64S would also emerge around the same time but would be available in Mapleglo, Fireglo, Jetglo and on occasion Midnight Blue finish I believe.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: 4001C64
It has a reshaped body the same as Macca did to his. A matte finish to replicate how he sanded his bare. Plus pickup and hardware changes to match the current state of Paul's 4001S.beatboy77 wrote: What exactly is the 4001C64S?

Don't forget the zero fret on the 4001c64s! Makes a difference (both good and bad) in some people's eyesken_j wrote:It has a reshaped body the same as Macca did to his. Thanks for this post. I dig the schematic breakdown of the exact parts used in both models. What a great website this is. Proud to be a member!
