Bert, thanks, that is my feelings too. I was going to swap it all out for chrome, but put the '73 high gain in the neck position, and about the same time had real magnetic shoes and a rewound coil from Sergio, so to follow the black and chrome motif, swapped that in too. It looks really nice with the black/chrome combo.
