Hey, I'll chime in and say I love the whole thing! It's the fingerboard and the checker binding that does it along with the rest of the black. I've never liked the white plastic and binding on a standard JetGlo. Just looks too gaudy to me. The Blackstars are almost OK, but the black painted fret/fingerboard is just too much. Having that bubinga fretboard in the midst of all that black adds just enough contrast and interest to make it all work...
