Looked inside my soundhole of my 360/12c63 last night and noticed a fair bit of excess glue was left behind near a brace.
No big deal but was wondering whether this is just a by product of the different construction method of 360/12c63's. Quite a few of my friends have regular 360's/330's and have never seen any residue inside their guitars.
Cheers

I'd be more worried if there wasn't enough glue used ...

Just a remnant of the process that reminds me that ricks are handmade one at a time. Someone squeezed out an extra drop of glue that day. It's not unusual nor is it a defect. I think it's considered traditional to leave it lie that way because I've seen it on many fine instruments.

Not too surprising, given that the 330's and 360's have no internal glued braces whatsoever, unlike your guitar which does.homer wrote:Looked inside my soundhole of my 360/12c63 last night and noticed a fair bit of excess glue was left behind near a brace.

Thanks John - i think that explains it!
Re: Glue inside my 360/12c63
I do not see any glue in my C63, however I can tell it is nicely built. Seems like a decent bit of craftsmenship.
