1969 headstock was shorter. i tend to like the walnut wings on the 60s and early 70s idont realy like the skunk stripe that much.why dont we see any 69-71s for sale?

Walnut wings here too, definitely; I'm happy with either headstock. I wish there were more 69-71/72s for sale too (my 72 has walnut wings), as the earlier ones are generally a bit pricey for me and I prefer them aesthetically to the later ones.
