Have a great birthday, Paul! It was great getting to meet you at SCARF and talk about music and guitars. I learned more in that one meeting with you than I did in my 9 years of playing guitar. My favorite part of meeting you was when you told my mother that I wasn't crazy preferring the Fender Jazzmaster over the Stratocaster and added you did, too. My mother also sends you birthday wishes. I'll never forget what you told me before I left, "Next year's SCARF, we're gonna have a contest for who can string a 12-string the fastest." :lol:

Happy Birthday to the Poo-Bah of paint, the guru of glue! There are a lot of things that really suck about getting old, but for musicians, some of us were lucky enough to grow up in a very exciting time. Somehow, I have trouble picturing today's youth still grooving to hip-hop when they're in their sixties.
....and just wait 'till all those tattoos start to sag......
