"Really want it" it's nice, but you really should have the money for it.....
I m a student , so now i can just dream of another RIC or any other guitar.
Actually, if I had money I would have buy a vintage p/j bass. Even though I like the sound of the RIC , I want to vary my small bass collection.

I'm 53 years old and have dreamed of playing in front of an audience since I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. Well, here is proof positive that dreams can come true! This was just this past Saturday night, 10/9/04: Image.

Congrats on your dream coming true, and your beauty Rick! What kind of stuff were you playing on it?

We play a mixed bag of good ol' R&R; some Petty, Stones, Beatles and a few one-hit wonders. The bass is actually Montezuma Brown and it cut like knife that evening. Did I have a good time? Jeez, it's tough to describe how pumped I was before, during and after the show. People I didn't even know coming up and telling me how much they liked us, grown-ups shaking the tamborines and maracas I brought, as well as there booties. It was as good as I'd always hoped it would be. And I'm looking for an excuse to do it again! Thanks for the nice comments...

Life got in the way. And by the way, I meant "their" up there.

guys....Got a REAL important gig tonight. Ned Devine's, Fairfax, VA. There are not too many big, rock clubs (mostly we play taverns, to be honest). This is a real hard club to get booked into (they hold open auditions once a month)...they had a cancellation and called us (our lead singer has been lobbying the owner for almost a year now, plus we did a thursday night fill in at their Herndon location in august). We are so pumped. Anyway, I just wanted to post it. This is really important to the band's future.

boy, if any of you guys show up, please DO come up and introduce yourself. Thanks for the support guys.

BTW: radar shows that most of the rain appears to be moving off to the coast, thank God. Washington is no longer in danger
