I've got to correct myself here--after doing a little research, I found out that Scuttle Buttin' was written by SRV after all. I was getting it mixed up with Wham, which is a Lonnie Mack tune that apparently inspired Stevie to come up with Scuttle Buttin'--so I was close, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, right?
