Moving to Canada!!

Post by egosheep »

I just received some great news tonight... my application for permanent residency in Canada has been approved! :D  Official timelines say to expect to wait 10 months or more, whereas this was just under three. They also said there would be no need for an interview, which is a huge relief. So sometime before Christmas I will be moving to Toronto. It will be a big change, but as a kid who always wished for snow days and school closings(and never got any), it's something I'm excited about. Now I just need to make sure my 330 has time to adjust to the cold before I take it out of it's case...

There is no reason to ever be bored.

Good luck in the GREAT WHITE NORTH, Thomas! 8)

Buy all the Ricks you want before going up there and save all those UPS brokerage fees, taxes, duties, etc.

Welcome to TO! It's nowhere near as cold as those guys are suggesting ... I only get to use the dog sled maybe 3-4 months of the year.

Seriously, its a good city and I think you'll like it here.

Good day eh? Congrats and welcome! I think CJ sees more snow and deeper cold than Toronto, but coming from Atlanta you'll want to pack a sweater or two. :D

Got that right, Brian! I never knew that the US border patrol would cut into my airbags!!

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. As far as I know, there is in fact internet access in Canada as well... so I won't be a stranger.
