Gorgeous guitars, guys! Love that Autumnglo 480.... and the flamey maple on that Capri is amazing. 8)

The converter on the left has a stunning fireglo, as does the capri!

Why Did the old accent vibratos have those parallograms on them?

That parallogram is actually a "badge" affixed to the VB that identifies it as "Ac'cent by Paul," which is a reference (I believe) to Paul Barth. Maybe he invented it or had something to do with it. Or maybe there was another "Paul." That I don't know.

The "badge" disappeared from the Accent VB around 1963/64. If I can find a close up photo of one I'll post it.

Lovely, lovely picture.... that Capri in the leaves looks like a fall calendar shot for sure! :D
