While I didn't have luck with a new 360, and I intend to one day buy a vintage one (If I can ever afford it!), I like the looks of the 381. However, because I'm not a huge fan of hollow-bodies, I am leaning more towards a 620 to complement my 620/12.

Re: POLL : What will your next Rickenbacker purchase be?
It's interesting to see that the " looking to buy a new guitar from the current lineup" category is running way behind the two "nothing in the current lineup interests me" categories.
If I was a Rick dealer, this result would concern me, because it seems like the Rickenbacker guitar-buying public (albeit a very small sample) is absolutely looking for a new model, new colors or a COY, or SOMETHING to get excited about besides MG, FG, JG, or MID. In the interests of lessening the backlog, the model selection has been decreased also, and I'm hoping that the RIC executives can take something positive from this survey; Rickenbacker guitars have a rabid fan base, and most of us (me included) have multiple guitars and/or collections. I would absolutely be interested in adding a new model or color to my collection, and I'm sure that the Rick network of dealers would welcome something new to sell. NAMM week would be exciting again, too.
It's encouraging to see that it seems like the backlog is being reduced and that dealers have inventory; hopefully this will result in something new being added to the product line in the near future. It would be a good thing on many levels.
RIC is obviously doing just fine "as is", but it would be fun to have some excitement again.
AND............RIC would be doing their part to stimulate the economy!

When I get the money, I'm planning on buying a used 4001C64 from here.
