I once saw Keef on the streets in Greenwich Village NYC. He got out of a huge white limo with some blond bombshell rent-a-floozy and went into a pottery store. When he came out we asked him about his latest bust.... "Got it beat, man, got it beat".... he managed to say as he stumbled back to the car, clearly doped out to the max. This was about '75 or '76.
I'm currently reading (listening to in the car) his book..... very interesting.
The only thing I'm puzzled about is why I'm not mentioned.
