Hi Scott, what month in '67 was this guitar assembled? I wonder how close it is to my Fireglo '67 360/12LH....?

Mine was completed in October '67. As far as I have been able to determine all of the lefties shipped from 1967 to 1974 with the 1960s features were started at the same time. ( My former BurgandyGlow 360-12 didn't leave the factory until I found it in a box there in 1989! ) They all have the internal block found in right handed convertible models, although I know of no lefty convertibles. So far I know of 5 sets of 6 & 12 sting models made during this era - 2 FireGlow, 1 MapleGlow, 1 JetGlow, and 1 BurgandyGlow. Yours is one of the FireGlow 12s. I still own the BurgandyGlow 370-6 and the above JetGlow 360-12, and know where all but a couple of the 6 string models have gone.

I think mine is GI (Sept.67), but I'll have to check, I'm having a senior moment at 39..LOL

If you recall, there was a Jetglo lefty 360/12 on ebay about two years ago that had to be 60's production, but had a 1974 jackplate....21-fret neck, CP inlay, toasters etc.....all the hallmarks, we may have discussed it at some point...

Boy, is my face FireGlo...

I bought the one you mention here as well. It has been on loan to a friend for some time, and I forgot about it.

This is from the same batch as the others I mentioned in a previous post. Same features, internal block, and that amazing wide-flat neck profile from the '67 - '68 period. It has more nicks and dings than I like on my guitars, but hey, it was too rare to pass up.

I recovered the lefty 360-12 JetGlo you were referring to that I bought on eBay, and it actually has an October 1976 serial number...

Yes, I recall it having a few dings here and there as well. 1976 eh?? Wow, it's hard to believe a guitar like that would have hung around at the factory for so long....
