The upper horn looks far more Manne-like than Rick-like, to me, anyway. Very nice, Jake.
Re: Wiring for 3 HB-1s
I just read on the Motorhead forum that the middle pickup on Lemmy's LK is "not wired up as its not used". So that saves you some trouble.mad_phingers wrote:When complete, I would love to install 3 gold Ric humbuckers, a la the 4004LK, but with a different control layout.

Maybe move this to the Others forum if being in the Basses forum is a stretch. I like the look, and how the upper bout and headstock both "hook".
Re: Wiring for 3 HB-1s
3 HB-1's are enough Rick content for me.

I have never seen Manne Guitars before, cool stuff! I like the whiskey barrel bass.jps wrote:The upper horn looks far more Manne-like than Rick-like, to me, anyway. Very nice, Jake.
If no one is opposed, I wouldn't mind keeping you all updated here. I always appreciate input and I am sure I will have many questions along the way.

Re: Wiring for 3 HB-1s
I have a neck I had built about 4 years ago sitting around and some wing wood, all waiting to be turned into something one of these days. That's why I'm interested in seeing how your through-neck turns out. I want to see how the routing and wiring holes, especially, go for you.
