It would probably look something like this:
Man! That beauty looks like a big piece of Rickenbacker candy! I started salivating over that Monte Brown finish! :)

Looks like candy? I agree.

Maybe we should call it Caramel-glo.

Here are Mine!

The Vintage one is a 1966 model and the other one is a re-issue from 2000 that Larry Davis did some custom work on for me. I call it a 1997-DS, my own signature model :D

You should see it in person...that picture he took doesn't do it justice...maybe mine does?

Like Gary Clauson's 1998PT (which rocks hard, thanks for posting it Gary), the pickups are so hot that they can cut through bricks. Really, bright treblely tone where you can actually hear yourself playing if you're with a full band.

Here's a couple of shots of me with Gary's PT, once I picked it up, I could put it down, my arm that is.

I don't believe I've ever seen a 1993 RI, so I checked the Registry.
Nothing registered.

I went to the RIC website and looked in the Gallery for 2000's models, and the message says that they haven't gotten around to posting pictures yet - check back soon.
It's been 12 years since the 2000 models have been available.....!

Does anyone have a pic or description of a 1993?

Kevin, that guitar you just posted is the guitar I will eternally lust after.

More pics of a 1993/12 reissue, we actually have a few! They are all member owned and none came from eBay:

The first is owned by Frank Maiale, the second by Al Sciarrillo and the last is unknown.

Here's me then

and now (well, within a couple of years)

with my 1986 1997 RI. It's my favorite. She's my baby. :D
Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).
