Thanks to Gil, "Grayglo" is now a finish color option on the Register. So if anyone has a Grayglo, you can select that color for registering your instrument.

It is black that has a matte coat then clear coated. Makes it look grayish.
Actually, no. The gloss clear coat has a milky-white tint in it, which over black makes it look gray. It's the same kind of effect as amber tint over Fireglo having a more orange appearance.

Thanks for clarifying. My memory of your explanation when this finish first appeared is faulty. I can't even claim a senior moment yet.

I don't think I've ever mentioned it before. Even I had to ask Ben about this today, as I didn't recall the specifics.

I've been having senior moments since I was about 27. :(

It DEPENDS on what meds I on at the time.

I had ordered a Jetglo 4003 that would have been perfect timing for me to get a Grayglo...but the person at the shop (which will remain anonymous) who ordered my 4003 had a senior moment. Oh well. I should have known better and ordered it from Pick Of The Ricks.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)
