I came across it yesterday when looking into buying a new set of strings for my Rickenbacker 4003. I bought it last year and fell in love with its sound! I ordered a set of Pyramid strings today but I noticed something: The guages that come with the RIC are 45-55-75-105. Is it just me or are they mixed guages? The Pyramid strings are 40-55-70-105. Will I have to re-adjust my bridge because of the new guages?Mixed Guages??

Mixed Guages??
Hello. I'm new to the forum.
Will I have to re-adjust my bridge because of the new guages?

Welcome to the Forum! I also checked out your website, you have some great pics on there! Anyway, the gauges on the Ric strings aren't mixed, that is the standard set. The only thing you might need to do is to tweak the truss rods slightly, as Pyramid flats have slightly higher tension. I'm sure that my fellow Forumites will chime in if I'm forgetting something. Welcome aboard!!

Welcome Lisa-Marie! Just be forwarned, this won't be your only RIC purchase! A lot of us, maybe most of us, can't live with just one Rickenbacker. I, for example, have four with another due to arrive tomorrow. That will make it four basses and one 12 string. You should hop on over to the Bass section and introduce yourself.
Lisa-Marie, for an excellent example of what Jps is talking about, look at this thread containing a picture of all thirteen of my RIC basses:
