I think that "A Gift For Chris Poteat" has a great ring to it...

Hm, congrats.

I second Jeff: Rickenbacker 4004CII

It's just some beautiful wood featuring a gorgeous finish and brilliant hardware with strings stretched over it!

Nice bass, however. ;)

Hey Jared, you did it!
You want a suggestion for a name for that beauty? Rickie.

A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Hey Joey-

I noticed your fretboard is finished-are the 4004CII coming with finished boards now?

My two aren't...

But now I got wings...

Sergio-Rickie sounds too much like Ricki Lake -this is not a bass fiddle Image

Congrats Jared! MY 4004Cii has a finished board, but alas, no walnut wings. Is there a name in the TRC cavity? Mine is named Claudia after the name I found there!

My '73 4001 is Raul (control cavity), although there is also Greg King's name in the bridge pickups cavity; my '67 4005WB only has the initials JH, as far as I recall; and my newest, the '04 4003FL is David.

Very Nice!

I'm a sucker for blondes with curls!
Don't tell my wife that.

I would call her Marilyn.

She was 'delivered' from Rhoads Music.

Jim's a great guy-just bought a display horseshoe from him the other day.

Did I forget to mention he had that? ;)
