I think Percy would enjoy that!

Percy is an awesome bassist. The things he does really boggles the mind, his sense of time and rhythm are so unique, it is really hard to even try to cop his style at all.

Well, I got my 4003FL from Bass NW today! It definitely will take a lot of getting used to the dot positions. It just doesn't make sense to put them where they are. They should be where the frets actually go. The side dots are in the 3-5-7etc. positions but in line with the dots on the fingerboard, not offset, wish they were.

It does sound fantastic with a very nice growl; it came with the standard roundwounds, I put Chromes on it and have done a basic setup but more will be needed to get it just right. This baby really is brand new, even has the unfilled out warranty card.

The neck is nice and slim, slimmer than my 4004Cii, not having frets helps somewhat here.

Well, gotta go play for awhile!
