Well I only have a Bausch and Lomb. My soldering iron is a 40 year old Ungar. The smallest element I own is 25 watts so I doubt that I will be doing any IC work unless I use sockets.

Re: Push-Pull Installed.... AMAZING!!!
I know nothing about this push/pull thing.
Until yet I read some enthusiastic comments from bass players about the results.
So some maybe naive sounding questions:
What happens with a toaster equipped 330/6 when it is enriched with the p/p option? Does it make sense?
If: Which two main sounding directions can I achieve? Next if: Has somebody already done it with a VP guitar?

There's always Olympus microscopes, too.ken_j wrote:Well I only have a Bausch and Lomb. My soldering iron is a 40 year old Ungar. The smallest element I own is 25 watts so I doubt that I will be doing any IC work unless I use sockets.

And Motic makes a darned fine microscope for Surface Mount work too.
For soldering, I've got a couple Metcal units, they only run 100 watts, but have specially designed tips made just for surface mount. At work, we've mostly gone to Hakko hot air systems that actually use a stream of super heated air to do the soldering. You really don't even need to touch the leads with anything other than the solder...

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
