When we see pics of the other two colors, I'm sure they will be discussed.

I haven't talked about them simply because I haven't seen them yet. :P

Beautiful finish.. IMHO its closer to the Blueboy with yellowing CV finish then it is to the COY sea foam..

+1.
To my eyes looks a lot like my gradually-greening 4004 cii Blueboy. I'm not saying that as a bad thing.

The TV Yellow intrigues me . . . looking forward to seeing what that looks like.
Watch those teeth, Marlin. I'm not sure we've properly sedated the beast . . .

I haven't found a way to stop thinking about these basses.
At the moment I'm thinking that tug bars would go nicely.

How long is RIck going to make the 4001C64? I thought it was discontinued. And clearly these are not "back order" basses.

That's what I was wondering.

Well, as it happens there's another order in house for 75 instruments covering 3 models in a special color. In the past our production system would be clobbered up making guitars with any type of special appointments, but at least as far as colors are concerned, our scheduling process and systems are now more flexible.

I do need to point out that all of these colors are unique. They are NOT replicas of any previous colors and are not intended to be.
I've got to see all of these, these are beautiful instruments!

The special green is pretty cool, but looking at the web page, how can they state the horeshoe is "identical" to the 1931 design? In looks only,i suppose..... :?
