Welkom Gerben. :) Ik ben benieuwd hoe die je bevalt. En ze hebben inderdaad de neiging om te vermenigvuldigen is mijn ervaring. ;-)

Thanks guys! Problem is now the payment still hasn't arrived at the sellers' account..

@Berth: Voorlopig vermenigvuldigen ze hier nog even niet, want ik moet zelfs nu al op droog brood en water leven..

IBAN/BIC payment? That can take some time. It wont be weeks, but it can be a week in my experience.

Indeed an IBAN/ BIC payment. I sent the money last Wednesday so I hope it'll be on his account this or tomorrow evening. If it isn't on his account by Thursday, he's going to quit the whole buy. ("Been trough too much hassle, blabla")

Thanks!

As the bass will arrive next Wednesday, I already am on the look for some particular information on the bass:
1. How do you adjust the horseshoe? On mine it's pretty much set as a triangle, but I've seen a lot horseshoe RIC's on which they're just flat.
2. The cap mod; what exactly does it do and is it worth installing it (maybe with a push-pull pot)?

And if you know something else about the bass that is worth knowing, don't hesitate to place it here. :)

This is what I mean with the "triangle" horseshoe.

You adjust the HS pickup height with the two large screws, one on each side of the pickup. The angle of the shoes is not adjustable (it is, but requires a bit of work, including taking the shoes off the pickup to do so); that is for the vintage look, and to allow greater range of height adjustment to prevent hitting the strings. The flat shoes were the earlier version of the reissue HS pickup.
