Dave! I've wondered where you've been...
Hit "Upload attachment" and when one's done, upload the next picture. You can upload three pics in one post. Good luck!
EDIT: What Forrest said!

Re: New vs. Old
I've been busy with the typical stuff, work, kids, etc...so let me try this upload thing again.....So here's some old stuff...
My trusty beat to death but magical '59 Capri My '61 365 OS My real '69 "Lennon" 325 (not a conversion or refin, it's the real deal. For those of you who did not see the video.... http://www.youtube.com/user/MrVintagemu ... C2u0Bwd22s I still can't believe this video has over 49,000 hits...) My MID 350v63 featured at NAMM (with gold guards added later, just waiting for an Accent...) And my BBR 330 just begging for gold guard and an Accent...

For some they are, for others they're not - and, tbh, some people here make it sound like modern Ricks are horrible things, which is simply not true.beatles beatnik wrote:So, the 60's ricks are the best out there?

Re: New vs. Old
As much as I love the vintage Rics, the modern ones are also great guitars. They are just different.

I just really like the shapes of the capri models.vintagemusicgear wrote:As much as I love the vintage Rics, the modern ones are also great guitars. They are just different.

To me it's like vintage jewelry. As nice as a modern diamond ring may be, there's nothing quite like old stones in an old 1920's wedding band. Just like with a vintage guitar, it has all that history that precedes you owning it and treasuring it.
Great Ramp In My Opinion.

And like old jewelry it will be scratched, dented and in only half a working stateegosheep wrote:To me it's like vintage jewelry. But then you don't have to worry about keeping it in pristine condition, and if you do put a small nick in it, you won't beat yourself up. Now if it is dead mint...I'm not sure.
