1998 4003 Neck Width

Post by crawlspacestefan »

Question for you guys:

Generally speaking, what would the neck on a 1998 4003 be like (especially compared to my April 2011)? There's one for sale here and I'm trying to decide if I should spend money I don't have on it!

Cheers,

-s.

Believe it or not, there was an excel sheet floating around for just these kind of questions. But to answer your question, on the thicker side.

I tried to do a quick search, but I couldn't find anything.

Regardless, thanks! I'm not sure I'd want a thicker neck than my 2011's. But, you never know, I guess.

Oy. This bass in question likely has a rather thick neck!

Thanks, guys.

I'll bet it is similar to my 99V63. It's not a fence post but it fills your hand. Mark
